Dr. Carlos Gartrell is an award-winning photographer (2x SCAD Acknowledgment Recipient -2003, 2006) based in the greater Augusta area but serves the entire southeast. He is also a teacher and case manager for special programs in Columbia County Schools, where he was named Grovetown High School's 2022-2023 Teacher of the Year. He was previously awarded 2009 Employee of the Year for his work & advocacy in Aiken County (Mossy Creek Elementary). Dr. Gartrell holds a Ph.D. in Education & Behaviorism
